Happy Monday to my new photo-blog and all of you!
We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding yesterday afternoon. Other than the weather being sunny and fairly warm we really felt like we were in a winter wonderland with this winter themed big day.
The winter theme was accompanied by colors of blue, snowflakes and glittery decor. I've never seen this theme before so I was curious to see how it all turned out. Let me tell you, it was GORGEOUS! Not only was everything set up perfectly, but the wedding party was cooperative and the bride and groom made everyone teary with how in love they are. Speaking of the wedding party, at times groomsmen have to be coaxed into pictures (it's a guy thing, we understand), but not this group, they were humorous and ready to go with their classy cigars & drinks in hand! You could really tell the bridesmaids had a close relationship with the bride during their pictures. They were striking sassy poses, lauging and made me want to put down the camera to join them. Not that it needs to even be said, but the bride was stunning. She could easily have been modeling her dress for a magazine.
The wedding venue was Hamilton Event Center in Edmond and the owner/coordinator Julie was so friendly and easy to work with. The cakes that made me gasp with their incredible detail and artistry were done by Rosebeary's Designs in Baking. As for the photography team, my new camera worked like a charm!
More blogs to come :)
